Golfers Degulat All!

Summer Vacation 2005: At breakfast one Saturday morning in San Jose, Tonino suddenly announced that he did not have to go to the office that morning.
"Listen," said Pearl, don't think you are going to run off and play golf today with Noli and Danny and leave the garden dry, not watered."
"Golf is the farthest thing from our minds," Tonino protested. "Danny, will you pass the putter, please?"

Dutifully, Tonino, Noli and Danny passed by the community garden to water the vegetable garden and then proceeded to the Golf and Country Club. Danny appeared on the golf course complete with new golf shirts, khaki pants, golf bag and a set of expensive clubs courtesy of Noli and Tonino. He stepped to the first tee and proceeded to send the ball well into the rough of a Par 4. Good drive.
"Which club will you take now?" asked his caddy. Surveying the situation for a moment, Danny replied, "The $400 one, please."

Then, Noli stepped to the tee and took a mighty swing and his long drive was a hole in one. Wow! Tonino stepped to the tee and said, "All right, now I'll take my practice swing, and then we'll start the game."

Tonino had been having a terrible time with his game that day. First he sliced his ball into some bushes, then into a trap, then across the road. Finally, he hit it deep into the bush field. He went looking for the ball, but couldn't find it. "Why not forget it?" asked his caddie.
"No way, " said Tonino. "That's my lucky ball!"

Over dinner that day, Tonino told Pearl that he finally had a winning day. "Congratulations. Did you break 80?" Pearl asked. "No," he admitted. "But I finally found more golf balls than I lost."
